Music lessons Tuition

We like to set up a trial lesson to meet the student (and their parents) in person, answer any questions, and make sure that we are a good match! To request an appointment please contact us! The introductory lesson costs $45.

There are two plans to choose from: Equal Automatic Monthly Payments (you get a total of 42 lessons in a 12-month period), and Fall and Spring Semester System (you get 18 lessons per semester).

EQUAL AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENTS
  • 42 weekly lessons during the 12-month period from the sign up date. The ten (10) remaining weeks out of the year are reserved for vacation and sick days. ​The cost of 42 lessons is divided into 12 equal automatic monthly payments.

For once-a-week lessons (total 42) the cost is as follows:

  • Introductory lesson - $45
  • 30-minute lessons - $192.50 per month
  • 45-minute lessons - $275.62 per month
  • 60-minute lessons - $367.50 per month


For twice-a-week lessons (total of 84 for the year) the cost is as follows:

  • 30-minute lessons - $367.50 per month
  • 45-minute lessons - $551.25 per month
  • 60-minute lessons - $735 per month

  • You are not obligated to take lessons for the entire year. To stop lessons, please notify us two weeks before the next billing date. Depending on the scheduling, you may have pre-paid lessons remaining or owe a balance on previously completed lessons.

  • You may choose to complete or forfeit any remaining lessons. There are no refunds.

  • If there is a remaining balance on completed lessons, you will be charged that final balance.

  • We will provide a detailed receipt for all lessons taken and paid for upon cancelation.​

FALL AND SPRING SEMESTER SYSTEM
  • This system may work well for those who plan to be away for the entirety of the summer and follow the public schedule for vacations. There is an option to take additional lessons in the summer, if the schedule and teacher's availability allow it.
 
  • The school year is made up of 18 lessons per semester. Fall semester starts on September 1st, 2023 and ends on January 22, 2024. Spring Semester starts on January 23rd, 2024 and ends on June 10, 2024. The payment is withdrawn two weeks prior to the start of the semester, on the 15th of the month.

ONCE A WEEK LESSONS (18 total)
  • 30-minute lessons - $990
  • 45-minute lessons - $1417.50
  • 60-minute lessons - $1890

TWICE A WEEK LESSONS (36 total)
  • 30-minute lessons - $1890
  • 45-minute lessons - $2970
  • 60-minute lessons - $3960
 
  • If you join the studio mid-semester, the first payment covers the lessons remaining before the end of your first semester.

Payment Methods and Additional fees

  • The method of payment used for all payments is ACH transfer, which is a direct bank to bank transfer set up through a secure and reputable billing company. All of your personal information is kept safe and private.​
  • You may choose to use a credit card instead, however, a 3% fee will be added to the monthly charge. 
  • A declined transaction will result in a $20 fee.
  • We do not accept cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal as methods of payment.

studio policy

  • Students must provide a 24-hour cancellation notice to qualify for a make-up lesson. Exceptions (such as family emergencies) are left to the teacher’s discretion.

  • Each student is entitled to four (4) make-up lessons per year when canceling at least 24 hours in advance. 

  • A make-up lesson may not replace one of the future scheduled lessons and must be completed within 6 weeks.

  • A missed or cancelled make-up lesson is not eligible to be rescheduled.
 
  • If a student is late, the lesson will end at the originally scheduled time.​​​

  • All 42 lessons must be completed within the 12-month period and do not roll over into the following year. You may purchase additional lessons as well.

  • Students and their parents must commit to daily practice of the chosen instrument. Consistency is key! Be prepared for each lesson and bring all the necessary materials.                                                                    
 
  • Students must have an instrument of their own available to them for daily practice
