GUITAR LESSONS FOR KIDS, TEENS, and ADUlts of all Experience LEvels

At Mindful Music Studio we offer private guitar, bass, and ukulele lessons for all ages. Our instruction is tailored to the needs of each student, depending on their age, skill level, learning style, and musical goals.
Beginner students can expect to learn proper technique and posture, as well as open chords, scales, and any desired repertoire adjusted to one's level. The student will develop a practice routine that is engaging, covers all the necessary elements of musical growth, and works with the student's lifestyle and schedule.
Intermediate students can expect to build on the previous items as well as incorporate specific guitar techniques heard on countless recordings, triads and bar chords, as well as expand their ear-training and music literacy skills by learning how to denitrify all the notes on the instrument. Improving tone and touch are an important element of proficiency, as well as working with the metronome.
Advanced level students can expect to build on the their skills by exploring arpeggios and connecting scales, genre specific techniques, improvisation, jazz repertoire, transcribing color, as well as playing in different tunings. 

How long are the lessons?

We offer lessons that are 30, 45, and 60 minutes in length.
